A container condition survey is an independent review of a shipping container’s observed condition at a point in time. It is commonly requested before cargo operations, at hire handover, or when there is a need to understand whether a box remains fit for the intended use.
Typical areas include structure, corner castings, side walls, roof, floor, doors, seals and the interior. The surveyor records what can be seen, photographs relevant findings and reports them in clear language.
